i just picked up the vinyl last night. i like all 4 tracks. and i've avoided all mp3's of this, and i'm happy for it. this is the kind of autechre i like. and i'm not a big ep7 fan. and i think i'm gonna buy some of those bigass sony dj remix silver headphone things. i'm mostly concerned about having them drown out the volume during dj sets. and even though i get a 40% discount on sennheisers, per lee's advice i'm gonna get those expensive ass headphones. something about "dj" and "remix" being written on the box that makes me feel weird about buying them. like maybe i should wear esdjco shirts and have technics stickers on my car too. that kind of 'feel weird.' a. -----Original Message----- From: Mann, Ravinder [CCS] [mailto:R.Mann@lmu.ac.uk] Sent: Monday, January 29, 2001 8:31 AM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: [idm] Was - Autechre, Peel Session 2 - Now Headphones Apols, Slightly off topic.. Which headphones will you (and others) be using ? Im thinking of buying a pair as my neighbour are getting bugged with the sounds I play. Id prefer not too bulky, the only ones people have mentioned is the Senhiesser HD-25. which ive I heard and I like the warm bass and not too harsh treble, any others around the £150 mark I should consider ?
