the album is called 'landscopes,' and it bears a striking resemblance to the more not-insane beat/melody workouts issued via worm interface (ie jake mandell, plasmalamp, the stuff on the alternative frequencies comps) a good deal of the tracks are lush and warm, dense layers and thick melodies somewhere inbetween playful and introspective. the beat patterns aren't really anything new (think autechre, plod, aphex, etc) and the sound isn't groundbreaking either, but it's not a bad release. worth about the $12 i paid for it, IMHO. cheers. r http://insecurities.org On Wed, 24 Jan 2001, Mxyzptlk wrote:
