im trying to figure out if the new +one album 'bare necessities' on
defocus is an alias of plaid or a true collaboration, as the info on the
cd claims. the sleeve reads "written by +one, produced by plaid" but
provides no other relevant info.
with an entirely electronic album, is there a difference between writing
and producing? the music itself strongly resembles something plaid would
make on their own, tho there is a lightness and sweetness that seems new
to their sound and could certainly be the influence of another artist.
any insight appreciated.
