I'm positive Ennio's been sampled in numerous downtempo/trip-hop tracks.
One track might be Depth Charge's "Bounty Hunter III". Some tracks from
the last few Milk Cult albums seem like they would be sampling Morricone
as well.
I can't confirm them, but at the very least, a lot of Ennio-inspired
music has been sampled heavily in this subsubsubgenre.
