First off, thank you for supporting me. But I'm curious why you think I'm the coolest dude on this list...? I never made such claims. Also, I think you are mistaken about my output of recorded material, I don't have that much, but I will let you know as soon as I release something. I am also a fairly new SuperCollider user, and I'm still building my foundation in OOP. These days I much prefer to use MAX/MSP, especially for live performance. The graphical system makes the learning curve much more level. Lastly, I'm just curious, did you read my original post? From your words below it seems like you read the first line and replied shortly thereafter. I sympathize with your insecurities. I too was once intimidated by strangers. I don't think you have anything to worry about though, as most people adjust to this kind of social anxiety when they leave their teenage years behind. I also had a common disorder when I first began using email lists, where I would feel comfortable saying mean and distasteful things since I couldn't actually see the people I was writing to. After a few months, I chilled out a little and became more accustomed to online communication. I then began to develop meaningful relationships in online forums and not take them for granted. This comes with experience, so you just need to spend a little more time online. Before you post anything, you just need to ask yourself "would I say this in public? Would I say this to another person if they were standing in front of me?" If the answer is no, then you should reconsider posting it to a public forum. cheers, Lee on 1/17/01 4:18 PM, peter chavez at dspeter5000@hotmail.com wrote:
