man, this "idm-list" must be pretty lame. it sounds like all they do is
post their opinions about music! bleeh!!
better mark that one on the "do not join" list!

p.s. really, all it takes to keep the list "on topic" (whatever that means)
is to exercise the "reply-to-person" button, often next to the "reply to
all" button on many email programs. it will send the email in question to
only the individual you wish you correspond to, instead of the entire
list. it's quite a novel idea, really.
