I think the Rephlex discography makes perfect sense. Take a moment and
remind yourself whose label this is. Rephlex releases a wide variety of
stuff, but RDJ has a different sense of the world than, say, Arista Records.
Rephlex is his label and the releases represent his own tastes and styles.
The benefit (bane?) of modern technology is that anyone with some cash can
start a label and release records.
The benefit (bane?) of consumerist culture is that anyone will buy anything
with the right name on it.
