Weekend Records and Soap
1919 W. Division St
Chicago IL 60622
i think they close around 5 or 6 so get there in the early afternoon.
about 2 blocks east of Damen ave that just opened up a few months ago.
They specialize in electronic music and soap. Less of a selection than
Gramophone, but a much more "IDM" (yech) and Experimental selection.
Also a great selection of homemade soaps. James (the owner) is very
helpful and is more than happy to play anything in the store ... I haven't
set foot in Gramophone since Weekend opened.
