It's a little darker than most ambient, subtle like Biosphere. I'm sure they'd be horrified to think they sound 'new age' considering that's a label that is frequently applied to John Tesh, Yanni & others. You may want to check out the website & playlists of Hearts of Space, an excellent "space music" radio show that's syndicated throughout the united states via public radio.
