I remember back in 1994 "trance" wasn't commercial at all and it seemed like
a pretty good direction to take the music. Now there's loads of it and much
of it is formulaic dross. That doesn't preclude the idea of there still
being good trance. A lot of of the classic stuff is still good.
I have an abiding hatred of a lot of the awful rubbish which has been
perpetrated since trance music crossed over into the mainstream, but if
anybody knows of anything good which has come out of that style in recent
years then I for one want to know about it.
