Well the Studio 1 is the product of a particular process -- playing
the Studio 1 recordings that Richie Hawtin produced, and playing them
on modified turntables.
His 'normal' tracks are in some respects similar in intent, but there's
actually a fair amount of variety in sound and intent. It's all pretty
fabulous if you like that dubby german sound.
