WTF?!?!
Are you trying to say people actually believe that BOC has never sampled
anything? If you listen to their music, they lift bits of soundtracks right
off old National Film Board nature documentaries and such. Where do you
think the voice on the track "Niagara" (on BOC Maxima) comes from? It's
clearly from some documentary about Niagara Falls. Since they only just
bought a computer, I'd venture to guess they sample quite a bit of stuff.

It almost sounds sometimes like they may have dumped parts of the song onto
a reel to reel and fucked with the playback speed. Certain parts of
Aquarius come to mind. You know how it seems to speed up in the middle of
the track?
bouncing a final mix to tape is pretty common. you may be correct.
listen to the song by the same name on the "hair" soundtrack, last time i
listened i noticed that they lifted the bassline from there. maybe there is
more. gasp. last time i suggested that boc sampled i received many nasty
replies.
