please don't bag on barnett newman.
he made alot of beautiful art.
his paintings arent just lines or "zips". if you think they are, you are missing
the point and you are probably missing the point on alot of other abstract
creations.
until youve gone and seen his "stations of the cross" series, you cant say that he
is just an "intellectual" wanker.
that was one of the most moving pieces or series of painting i have ever seen.
anyways, i digress.
