There are loads of house records that are interesting and rewarding. And watch Terrence Parker DJ if you think House can't be exciting. You can't condemn a genre for it's worst examples. I could make you a list of crappy IDM tracks if it comes to that... Of course the whole point of House music is the dance/club experience. As the saying goes, House Music Is A Feeling. It's party music. It's purpose built.
