Biosphere: Patashnik - One of the finest albums I own. A fantastic mix of dark, eerie ambience and distorted rhythms. I believe Novelty Waves was used on a Levi Jeans advert once. Substrata - Beatless, windswept ambience conjuring images of frozen tundra blah blah blah. Other people could put it much better than me, but suffice it to say that Substrata is another of the finest albums I own. This album is so atmospheric it almost changes the environment around you when you listen to it. Cirque - Not quite as good as either Substrata or Patashnik, Cirque is something of a hybrid between the two. It retains the swirling, chilly ambience of Substrata and combines it with the crackling, distorted rhythms and percussion of Patashnik to great effect. )Jamesq. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
