Whatever. IDM is here to stay as a marketing term. I keep seeing it
turn up in magazines as though it's as accepted and self-evident as
KHz, or D&B.
Maybe if we start saying that it isn't an acronym for anything, then
we don't have to defend 'intelligent': "It's EYE DEE EM AND IT JUST
MEANS EYE DEE EM";
