Plenty of suggestions here. All Plug Research is great, but be forewarned that not all PR records are in the same vein - in fact, very few are similarly housey (except perhaps the Mr. Hazeltine 12"). Anyway, along the lines of Luomo: * Theorem vs. Stewart Walker - (THX3 (?)) - great tech-house record, but the real killer is a deep, deep track w/ a simple vocal loop that recalls Luomo * Losoul (Klang) - incredibly inventive "microhouse", somewhere between the rhythms of house music and the sounds of minimal techno * Perlon records - see above description. Actually, for plenty of this stuff see www.mad-net.de, for a whole family of like-minded labels * Kompakt records - pick and choose, but you'll find something to your liking here * Force Tracks - again, lots to choose from here, in the vein of minimal house. -Phil --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
