Well, I wouldn't say "the less used the better." Admittdely, the uncut
amen has been overused, but this doesn't mean that if I take a break
from a Raffi record it's going to necessarily be better. Theere is
a reason that these breaks have been used so much- they're perfect for
it. The amen can be cut any way you want and it still pieces back
together beautifully and sounds "ruff" the whole time.
I do, however, like to find new breaks because it is possible to change
your sound by doing this.
Saying a break is played out is like saying that the 909 is played out
in a way. :)
