Hi everybody. This is the Cex speaking. You may remember me from my last
e-mail to the idm-list, which received rave reviews in the Wire and Urb and
Spin magazines. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about some more shows.
Here they are:
Sunday, Oct 22nd in San Fransisco, CA, East meets West in a battle not
unlike God vs. Jesus in magnitude or importance. Electric Company, Blectum
from Blechdom, & Cex will be playing and also Kid606 and Lesser are doing
some kind of turntablism thing. This show is at the Bottom of the Hill at 9
PM, etc. You probably heard about this one already but I'm just keeping it
fresh for your head.
Thursday Oct 26th in Washington DC at the Black Cat club, there will be Cex,
Steward (555), SK and 1 other person tba. This show is 5$.
Saturday Oct 28th in Baltimore, MD at the Johns Hopkins University there is
a show with the Convocation Of (GSL), Q & Not U (Dischord) and Cex. I guess
the show will be during the evening time, and costs 0$ (for you to get in to
see it.)
Saturday Nov 4th in New York City at the Cooler: Hrvatski, Cex, Aerialist,
Shy Child. If I had to pick one word that they say a lot in commercials to
describe this show, i'd probably say the word "Extreme!"
Those of you in the know already know that my descriptions here don't even
begin to do justice to the stunning live act that is me, so please don't be
a doofus and miss the shows if you live nearby. I will be travelling long
distances on a sturdy raft with only a sack of salted hardtack and a compass
to get to these shows, so there's no excuse for you not to do the same.
Although if you print out a yahoo map to help you on your journey, make sure
to laminate it in case you have to ford a river or stream.
