Good thread... I'll be boring and vote for two classics:
1) MC Shan - "The Bridge" (Marley Marl production) - I think Marley Marl
sampled himself on this one for the title: there's a good story here about
the sample specifically that I can't quite remember...
2) Rob Base - "It Takes Two" - from the track with the same title by Lyn
Collins, the Female Preacher...
