Definitely a nice one. One of my favorite "ambient" albums.

Hey hey ! There's no such thing as a not completely good Frisell album ! ;-) "In Land" and maybe "Is That You ?" would be the ones to check out if you're into Brook's stuff. To be honest their work isn't very similar really. Frisell is an improviser coming out of the (experimental) jazz tradition and Brook is ambient/fourth world or whatever.

"Remove The Need" is his only guitar record on Extreme and it's highly recommended. Beautiful, multiple guitars, resonant drones stuff. A couple of other things you might also enjoy: Roy Montgomery - I'm only familiar with one of his albums, "Temple IV", but it's similar enough to some of that stuff to qualify Robert Fripp & Brian Eno - No Pussyfooting Andrei --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
