My latest project, Ovo, has recently gone live on mp3.com. At the moment it
consists of 12 songs put together by myself and my friend Ben over the past
six months. I did all the programming and keyboards, while he DJs, plays
guitar and other live instruments, and performs various other duties.
I think the music is IDM in the most general sense of the word. It
certainly isn't dance music. I don't consider it Autechre or Aphex ripoffs
stuff either though. A major influence on me in this last half of a year
has been the music introduced to me via this list, so I figured I would
announce Ovo's birth to you all as much as a thank you as it is shameless
self promotion.
