Did I read the question right? Was it something like "has there been anything good that got in the charts in the last 20 years?". Of course there bloody has! Scanning alphabetically through my CDs.. 808 State, Altern-8, Art of Noise, Beastie Boys, Beck... blah blah.. Successful does not equal badful.
