I'm not sure I really know. I mean,... I've heard IDM/electronica type stuff used in movies but I don't think I've ever really heard an entire movie score "intelligently" influenced, so to speak; at least allowing the influence of the last ten years or so of electronica evolution. I know that programming is certainly used. But that's a far cry from the prospect of the next blockbuster movie soundtrack written (orchestrated/programmed) and recorded by the likes of someone like Amon Tobin. Maybe Hollywood's too scared of it to throw this stuff out for mass consumption. Maybe the right people still just don't know about it. In my opinion, though, I think it would work very well, indeed! -matT --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
