Thing with four walls and a roof ... yes I agree, all this defining music to the minutest particle is crazy. And Deep House to one is Progressive Trance to the next. To be less flippant, you can read up about the history and emergency of "house" in many published books but basically anything housey has a 4x4 kickdrum. viz. the Roland 808. Deep House to me is stretched out disco without the vocals (sometimes diva's take a turn) - lots of it is very nice, actually (see Daniel Ibbotsen & co).
quoted 1 line what is acid? hard acid? acid house?> what is acid? hard acid? acid house?
Anything "acid" is not (strictly, ha ha) drug related, but refers to the squelchy sounds of the TB303. And so on and so forth. Have fun finding out :-) I * --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
