hmmm...no, I believe "a pert cyclic omen" was first. in fact this lp was done while medicine was still in effect (1994)...and I was gonna say that this CD (not available on vinyl, and now out of print on cd, I think), is absolutely essential. hauntingly beautiful & beautifully haunting. the title track sounds like a satanic bossanova party which took place in the boiler room (from the 1st nighmare on elm street). and a track called "electro amp cynic" sounds like it was recorded in some sort uf insanely fucked up jazz club which makes the cantina bar scene in star wars look (and sound) like your everyday cheesy top 40 cover band in the trendy bar down the street...uhhh...maybe I should keep my mental pictures to myself. anyway, lovely record. definitely one of my all time favorites. em.
