I have been on this list for about five years now and ALWAYS read
Lance's posts even if the subject line is something I don't recognise -
simply because what Lance has to say is always helpful, meaningful,
knowledgeable and *relevant* to this list.
However, in all that time, I do not recall ever reading Lance come
out to the list or, indeed, mention anything personal about his life at
all. He is exemplary in sticking to the topic (unlike the rest of us!).
Have you checked with Lance that he's okay with you talking about
his orientation in the third person like this? If you want to shout
about YOUR lifestyle from the rooftops, go ahead, but don't drag
other people into it. Even if he doesn't mind, I consider this totally
invasive, indiscrete and unnecessary.
I am a minority too : a *woman* (shudder) on the IDM list. Whoo-
hoo. So what. I happen to like the music.
