i saw them here in chicago a couple years ago, it's a great show. very funny and po-mo. total sensory overload. the do all kinds of fancy percussion/melody on PVC instruments, not unlike the ones they used on Leno. the band that backs them is pretty far out, when i saw them, they used a Chapman Stick, a drumset and an instrument that was called a Zither or Zephyr or something which was basically a homemade hybrid between a pedal steel guitar and an autoharp. the music was kind of overdramatic silliness but very effective nonetheless. if you ever make it to the USA try to catch them, they do shows in Chicago, and NYC. maybe Boston too? i can't remember. get tickets in advance, they were booked up for two months when i saw them. plus they used the KLF's Last Train To Trancentral as the closer for the show.
