heres another topic starter. i'm sure its been done before, but top X
lists are always fun. anyway, what are some of your favorite IDM releases,
so i can cop some. heres a few of mine.
1) FSOL - lifeforms 2xCD
2) orb - u.f.orb
3) squarepusher - music is rotted one note
4) aphex twin - SAW 1
5) aphex twin - SAW 2
6) plaid - not for 3s (like it better than restproof)
7) carl craig - more songs about food and revolutionary art (yes, i'd
group it in here)
8) monolake - hong kong
as you can see, most of my tastes tend to be along the lines of more
"discovered" IDM artists than underground ones. this isn't intentional,
its just that i have one decent record store here in tampa, fl and i
usually don't buy new stuff, so i ended up finding most of these used over
the years. so basically, any recommendations would be great.
btw, looked for some cylob today, didn't see any. i was too lazy to order
it.
