The dx7 was one of the first widely available digital synths. It
uses FM synthesis which can be a bit tricky to figure out if
you are new to synthesis. You can get some decent sounds
out of the dx7 but unless your getting one really cheap you
can get alot more bang for the buck elsewhere.
