Adam - Wow, i posted a review to idm & someone agreed! Amazing! If the laptop performers put up a placard telling you they were using loopops, propellerheads, reaktor 6, wowfactor, kosmik music or whatever name the latest tweak program was - ok i made some up - then we'd all be home downloading the stuff, messing about ourselves & why bother going out? (i have actually tried a few myself, but i make no pretense that i've mastered any of them) i've been a music appreciator 4 many years, what i respect is how interesting the sounds are that are being manipulated.... the most fascinating performance i ever attended was david toop at the purcell room who had a hundred bamboo conical shaped object that were manipulated into the computer wizardry & when i later went up to toop & told him i never imagined the sounds came from those objects, he replied 'you've got a strange brain' like they probably say somewhere else, it aint the meat, it's the motion... i'm really sorry i mist the pole show down in london. ok, gang, flame on...
