Unexpectedly, I found something interesting at the library this
morning : Brian Eno : Desert Island Selection.
Probably Virgin/EG Music's marketing ploy for the year '86, but a
goodie anyway for anybody interested in his early output. This says
on the cover : "A compilation for Compact Disc from the period 1973-
1978; a companion to the album More Blank Than Frank".
Frankly, I haven't heard of that one either. It's not the classic
ambient Eno period, but more of the vocal ditties he did, which are
all very pretty and BIG BONUS it includes "Julie with ..." which must
be one of my all time Eno faves.
