well... this seems like a good idea but i wouldn't use this method especially for a list of such a large size. Reading this mailing list does take up much of my time, yet I can usually read some of the messages while i'm checking the rest of my email and throw away the rest. This seems to me to be the most efficient method of recieving these messages, reading them, and throwing them away. On a forum it would take special interest and time to go and read the messages. I personaly would forget to do that and probably just wuite the list if it turned into an internet based forumm BTBTFFCRAB -----Original Message----- From: Thad [mailto:dahtbig@earthlink.net] Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2000 8:38 PM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] an alternative way to organize the idm list? the below suggestion was offered up by one imo smart dude on the Muslimgauze list as an alternate way to set up a "mailing list". I was wondering if there was any interest in this regarding the idm list. I think, considering idm's size of content, this would be a more effective way to communicate... of course this would take some work to set up. but any thoughts on this? -Thad
