i thought you were old to go to raves. i actually went to see the orb last weekend (mexico), i was excited cause i used to really dig'em, but due to the lack of good maintaince of the place- it was raining- their equipment fucked up and alex paterson got on the dj role. ooooh big mistake for the fans, big 'yeah' for the raver-posers. I just wanted to listen and dance a few, but ah whatever... fucking ravers always fuck up the 'listenin mood'. can't they just LISTEN? it's not ALL about lovin and uniting or gathering in one place to forget about the world and start acting like you're at some halloween ball in highschool... there's also people who respect the music and its creators, not only the dumbfuck next to you wiggling its dumb pants and ludicrous glowstick.

know it enough to be disappointed of someone who actually 'reads&posts' on this list using the term PLUR. i thought most ravers were more about the lovin' vibe and silly jumpin than the creation of the music itself. sorry, i have nothing nothing against your beliefs or your lifestyle. i just find amusing having someone on this list under the email alias of "hippiechick", it must be some sort of old email addy i guess. who are your favorite IDM performers? i'm just curious. Off subject, i was listening yesterday to Matmos; there's a track on the 10th Anniversary Matador's Everything Is Nice comp. A while ago Thurstone Moore put out an album called Root, which included a bunch of good remixes. Most of you know it i guess, even Merzbow was in it. But one of the tracks that brought more my attention- aside from that bad ass Richard Thomas track- was the Stock, Haussen & Walkman track. This Matmos track i'm talking about reminded me of S,H&W. Any of you guys know any more artists like this? I'm a big fan of Plone (of what i've heard at least), and i was wondering if any of you guys would tell me where can i get any gear that will allow me to make something as childish and silly? maybe a software 'cause i'm poor right now. -sorry lisa. just like to poke lil' ravers, it's worse when you call'em neo hippies- "wanna plur? e-mail me! : neohippiekid@raver.net" pho.
