which album are you talking about? the "Brasilia" album came out around
the same time as his release as Squaremeter. i have "Brasilia" and think
it's quite good. it's a nice mix of the pop|click|crackle elements of IDM
and microsound, and some harder, more distorted textures. i really like
it. i haven't heard his Squaremeter material, but i've heard good things
about it from friends and others who's opinions i trust.
were you hoping for "Phoenix Metabolism Pt. 2"? i can see how his newer
albums would be a "waste of money" if you were expecting more hardstep.
