Who cares :-) Being a stickler for categorisation doesn't make the music sound any different - and either you like it or you don't. I bought the new Leftfield the moment it arrived in the shops - having had such a long wait and build-up since the original (sic) album, which was very eclectic and pretty ground breaking in its day. I must admit that I was disappointed on first play through and put it aside (on one of those famous piles on the desk) only to pull it out again for a spot of speaker testing down in the lounge when (more mainstream oriented) friends came over. Surprisingly, what boomed forth from the bass bins filled me with glee and I really do enjoy the album now. It's not a headphone special. It's designed to be played LOUD and it works very well at that level. And no, it's not in any way similar to Ae. Banish the thought!
