I've always found Cylob just distinctly unenjoyable. Sure, he's done quite a mix of stuff, but I guess I mustn't share his taste in, well, melodies for a start. *cringe* I was actually thinking yesterday that I couldn't understand how little people comment on Sun Electric releases when they come and go. I really like their last two, and stylistically they're very similar to the much more talked about Thomas Fehlmann (who has some kind of guiding role in Sun Electric, no?). And, hey, wasn't it at a Sun Electric gig that Stefan Betke dropped his Waldorf filter into a vat of radioactive goo, transforming him into Pole? Everyone's gotta love him, then. :) So, yeah, Cylob, I find his whole approach really ugly. What about these Sun Electric bods? Just not widely heard, or too twee for people, or what?
