Note:
1) I haven't heard the mixes.
2) I didn't know there was a renewed major label push
for Bob Marley's backcatalog.... BUT
Consider for a moment the remixers perspective. If
somebody threw a lot of money at you to toy around
with some of the greatest source material out there,
damn it, I'd go nuts over it. That would be just as
cool as, say, I got access to all the Abba masters
to do funky house mixes..... :)
The only thing BS about it is if the mixes came out
all shite.
