I'll do my best: He's definitely staying away from using outright 4/4 beats, in a very Phthalto way. (no surprise) There are a lot of cut-and-paste feel to this release, sparse chunks of coherent beats with otherworldly pads with none of the sparkly IDM-feel present on "emanated". It's a pretty dark-feeling release, more Phthalto than Emanate. I just wish the tracks were longer, it seems like they top out at 3 minutes or so.
