like other things, it's not so much what it is but what it opens the
door to. knowing your customer to serve them better is one thing, but
it's another when just one entity knows that much about so many people.
it's more parasitic than anything at this point, & is likely to breed
nothing but stagnation in the end.
of course, please be my guest & avoid caring about the topic altogether:
there's a bright future ahead, i hear.
