i had to mention this with the recent threads of the warp 10 real audio
streams at www.gaialive.co.uk/presents/warp ... there's a program called
x-fileget from www.2bsys.com which is a standard download manager, except it
also lets you grab real audio files that normally only will stream. you just
right click the link, select 'copy shortcut', then click the 'add' button in
xfileget and it goes out, downloads the file and examines where the actual
file is located, and pretends to stream it but writes it to your hard drive.
as for the rare aphex, you can use x-fileget to grab the realaudio (cant
remember if they are streams or not) from www.joyrex.com ...click on the
rare tracks link at the end of the news section, and you can grab:
Richard's Hairpiece
Freeman Hardy and Willis Acid
Q-Chastic: CAT002
Phlid
Soit P.P.: n.IASP (appears on the ART002 CD compilation)
Bummy (Appears on the Mealtime compilation)
Unknown (Extended version of Track 11 off Analogue Bubblebath 3)
Perc#6 (Appears on ...Or Some Computer Music compliation)
