Just talked ot a friend at Caipirinha and here is some
"unofficial" news...
- The next release in Caipirinha's Architettura series
will be from german experimental d&b prodigy
Panacea. The style of this release is reportedly
more abstract than his previous works more along
the lines of his recent Panacea vs Hanayo: Hanayo
in Panacea cd on Mille Plateaux. Definitely sounds
exciting...
- After his excellent Highrise album on Tresor, Savvas
Ysatis will return to Caipirinha with a new album of
abstract tech-house early next year. For those unfamiliar
with Savvas Ysatis, he has been releasing superb
experimental ambient and techo/tech-house under a
variety of guises including Omicron, Arc, Sound Track,
and his own name since '95ish. Savvas has released
materialon a variety of labels including 12k, Index,
Caipirinha, Instinct, Kk/Radical Ambient, Plastic City,
Red, Nova Zembla, and Tresor.
- Finally the DATACH'I: 10110101 = [rec + play] cd
will be out next week. For those into the Kid606 or Lesser
breakneck gabber sound then you'll definitely be into this.
