I also have played with sub basses (<40Hz) and felt "sick" afterwards. I didn't had any problems to hear 20 Hz. Maybe your soundcard or speakears can't produce frequencies low enough. :=) However, I can't hear anything above 13-14 kHz. I got Soundblaster 32 AWE. Does it roll off at this point or do I have somehing wrong with my ears? I have "minor" tinnitus in my right ear. Marko
