well, even the ppl who think they're biting the Ae sound would prolly agree that Funkstorung are still quite good. personally, i can see the comparison to some of the Cichlisuite/Envane-era Ae material, but i don't see anything wrong w/ sounding similar to other musicians. hell, 99.44% of all country and opera (two genres which i just don't listen to very often) artists sound alike to me.

a number of ppl have mentioned "Additional Productions" already. this is good stuff.. particularly the Wu-Tang Clan, Bjork and East FLatbush Project remixed. definitely check out their "Break Art" and "Post Art" releases. i'd also recommend Michael Fakesch's "Marion" and his Aemic side-project with Andre Estermann. i just picked up "Appetite For Disctruction" last night, and though i've only managed to listen to the first record so far, i'd definitely recommend it as well. oh.. and try it on 33.. good lord! - jo5_h --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
