Way to merge the "sub-bass" and "wrong speed" threads! 5 extra points! I play a number of tracks at the "wrong speed". My favorites are Photek's mix of Roni Size's "Brown Paper Bag" and Wax Doctor's 12" on R&S. They both turn from decent DnB (45PRM) to excellent techno-jazz pieces (33RPM). Mixing the Photek remix into some Chain Reaction material is sublime. I'm constantly on the hunt for jazzy techno-speed breaks material like this - "Manufactured Memories" and "Bug in the Bassbin" by Innerzone Orchestra are my measuring sticks for this sort of style, but I have lots of other records I enjoy in this vein. Anybody have suggestions for more mixable techno-speed stuff like this? I need jazzy, well-programmed breaks, funky but not silly (ala Big Beat stuff).
