Friday night I danced till 4am solid - my calves are now aching (nothing to do with bleating sheep though). 4 DJ's up, 2 hours each, starting with groovy lush and swirly deep house to lose yourself in. Then? Along came those thundering repetitive beats unrelentingly punching the air in a very ugly fashing. I hung in, knowing that the next DJ (two hours on) would be more 'up my alley', which indeed he was. But those two hours were hardship! (No sideroom or ambient flop- down section). I longed for a T.Power antidote and sure enough, when I got the chance the next morning I put Mutant Jazz on repeat about 5 times - a bit of melody saturation, thank you :-) Is it an imbalance of the relevant chemicals that makes us not love 4ttF? Or {cough} are we a more discerning and elevated species ... or {hushed whisper} is it just crap? - - - and I know I'll be back again next week. Ha. I *
