I know Black Dog started out with three very limited
12" singles, before Warp. And I don't think they
really got world attention, like the Artificial
Intelligence series gave them. I know b12 had some
singles on their own label. I hardly think either band
had "MADE IT" and were considered a "HIT".
Even if so, I hardly think that Jega's comments
mattered in the first place. Who really cares?
Perhaps, Warp just has a better business strategy then
alot of other smaller independents, because Warp
artists certainly get better distributed and better
known.
