Ouch. False, partly. Black Dog paid some *serious* dues before they were signed to Warp. B12 were also somewhat "established" before Electro-Soma came out, weren't they? driftwood:

single. Heh. From WarpNews: "The Broadcast album is very nearly finished. Expect new albums from Autechre, Aphex Twin, Mira Calix, Boards of Canada, LFO and the Rednex sometime before the end of the millenium." A couple years ago, back when that hellish Cotton Eyed Joe song was huge, the dj for our local dance radio show (EdgeClub) took all the copies of that record lying around the studio and broke em in half on the air. It was funny. -c- "I am a cipher. Wrapped in an enigma. Smothered in secret sauce."
