Trance-adelic ... LOADS of stuff around, mainly on the trace end of
the spectrum. Loop Guru were mentioned, as were
T/G/Underground, whose newest one "Rejoice rejoice" isn't entirely
shabby. Also try the new JOI : One and one is One, which has
some good moments -"Fingers" being hailed as a floor filler...
I've got a remix album titled "Global Sweatbox" (on Nation Records,
also mentioned on this thread) with people like Weatherall/Drum
Club/Sherwood/ Jah Wobble/Youth etc. remixing tracks by Space
Cadets/Tribal Drift/Uzma/Pulse 8 etc, which I think would fit your
bill.
Also, a really nice Eastern feel for relaxing to is Jamshied Sharifi
"A Prayer for the Soul of Layla" (Alula Records, 97).
There's a Return to the Source '98 v/a comp on RTTS titled
Ambient Meditations with Children of Dub / Quaid / Solar Quest etc
which you might also enjoy.
