what's the big deal, anyway? are we so protective of the music we listen to that we freak out when we find out someone else is listening to it? there is no way on earth that any normal, wal-mart mentality person could figure out that an aphex song is being sampled in a commercial, then go out and buy it and tell all his friends about it. it's a freakin shaving razor commercial! "Y0 DoODS! ThiS is ThAT SonG in THAT GilLeTTE CoMMerCial!" please. it's probably some guy just like you and me who listens to this type of music, and is trying to put stuff like that in his commercial.. cuz he wants all his friends to say 'hey whats that music u put in there?' or he is a fan and is trying to give the artist props. (heh, i said props) bah /end brain fart ----- Original Message ----- From: "Winegum Esquire" <winegum@pandora.be> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, May 01, 2000 10:37 AM Subject: Re: [idm] music in commercials & TV
